Brittany Brannon (voiceover): Tonight, one of our quarterfinalists will be evicted from the dancefloor one week shy of the semi-finals (more clips shown). And then, it's time! The cast of the DWTSGame Season 6 will be revealed! Who will surprise you and who can you peg as winner? LIVE! This is Dancing with the Stars!
Brittany: Hello, and Welcome to Dancing with the Stars! I'm Brittany Brannon.
Kendall: And I'm Kendall Schmidt.
Brittany: Well, it's now New Year's Eve, and tonight we have to say goodbye to one of our quarter-finalists, one week prior to the semi-finals!
Kendall: Yep, it's pretty sad to have to eliminate another star on yet another holiday, but it must be done! And then, we have the cast of Season 6 here with us and we are going to announce them... along with some MAJOR changes to Season 6!
Brittany: You're honestly going to love this cast, I can say for certain! Right away, let's get to this week's encore performance!
Len: This week saw 10 very entertaining dances, two of which scored perfectly. It was such a hard decision to come to, but we have decided that this week's encore should go to Eva and Alec with their Russian Roulette Rumba (audience cheers)!
Brittany: Wow! I actually think this is their first encore of the season. Please welcome back Eva and Alec (cheering continues)!
Eva is in a small, tight, black leather outfit. Alec is in an unbuttoned black dress shirt. The pair dances to Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette”. Once finished, the audience gives them a Standing O.
Brittany: Great job, indeed! Now, Eva's Rumba wasn't the only highlight from Week 9. We also saw each of our remaining five remaining couples do two dances, with one of their dances only being rehearsed to music for 45 minutes! Along with that, Elena Grinenko stopped by for her fourth time as guest judge this season!
Kendall: Now, if you didn't catch our episode this week, here's a little montage of what you missed out on. Take a look...
A montage/recap of all of the dances from Week 9 are played. A leaderboard recap is also played. Confessionals start playing (with each couple after their second dance).
Eva: Hallelujah! Praise Rihanna (audience laughs)! I can't believe we got a perfect score for that dance! We only got 45 minutes to rehearse! Amazing!
Julia: Two dances down... about ten more to go! I can't wait until we win (Julia laughs)!
Hayden: Why do moms always tend to embarrass their children? Why (Hayden cringes, Julianne hugs him)?!?!
Betty: Man, those are some bad scores. Someone's getting shanked after this show is over (audience laughs)!
Emma: I agree with Elena. I loved the song, but I loved our Quickstep way more!
Confessionals end
Brittany: A couple of you even tweeted us your votes. We wish more of you would vote through Twitter, though! They help your favorites a lot more than you think!
Kendall: Right now, let's reveal one couple that has secured their place in the semi-finals.
Dramatic elimination theme music plays
Brittany: The first couple safe to dance next week is... (long pause; camera pan the couples) ...Hayden and Julianne! (cheers; Julianne hugs Hayden)
Regular lighting returns
Brittany: Right now, please follow us as we travel backstage to reveal the first six members of our next season's cast!
Kendall and Brittany are followed backstage by camera-men to a room with couches and stools, the same room where the cast was announced last season.
Kendall: So guys, this is the thing you've been waiting for!
Brittany: Right now, our Season 6 stars are about to be announced! I'm so excited!
Kendall: Brittany, I can barely contain my excitement! I'm about to burst. But let's just start by making an announcement. We can now reveal our GUEST JUDGE WINNERS!
Brittany: Yay, can't wait! Kendall, would you do the honors of announcing our winners?
Kendall: Absolutely! The winners of Season 5's Guest Judge Trivia Contest are... Ryan Lane, Lane Swenson, Amanda Cogill, Trent Britton, Ethan Ferguson, and Harry Lethaby! Wow, that's twice as many winners as we had last season! Amazing! Thanks to all who participated!
Brittany: Congratulations Ryan, Lane, Amanda, Trent, Ethan, and Harry! You are all judging your own DWTSGame episode! Hope you have fun with it!
Kendall: I'm sure they will. Another quick note... Next season we lose Liza Van Pelt, Chelsie Hightower, Jonathan Roberts, Ashly Costa, and Julianne Hough as pro dancers (crowd 'awws'). But when old pros leave, that means: New pros come in!
Brittany: Absolutely, Kendall! Please welcome Jonathan Platero, Joy Spears, Lauren Froderman, and Tiphanie McNiff, Season 6's new and returning pros! Okay, let's get this show on the road!
Kendall: Time to announce the first star. This woman is an R&B singer, mostly known for her singles, Dilemma with Nelly, and Independent Woman with her group, Destiny's Child, featuring Michelle Williams, and this season's Beyonce! She is also a judge on The X Factor in the UK. Please welcome The Third Child, singer Kelly Rowland!
Kelly walks to the couch.
Brittany: Next up, we have one of our most important contestants ever on the DWTSGame! In 1993, this certain Arkansas politician tried, and actually succeeded, at campaigning to become the US President! His daughter, Chelsea was on our show a few seasons ago, and now he attempts to dance! Please welcome the Man of the House, Former US President Bill Clinton!
Bill waves excitedly and walks to a stool.
Kendall: Following Bill Clinton is a girl famous for her acting and singing role in a certain Nickelodeon TV Show, Victorios! She plays Jade West, the show's antagonist! Will her dancing be evil as well? Please welcome the Victorious Villain, actress Elizabeth Gillies!
Elizabeth smiles and runs to the couch next to Kelly.
Brittany: Joining these amazing stars is a man who was dubbed 'Most Versatile' in the sports industry, for playing two separate sports at two separate positions! Could he now add dancing to one of those sports he does well? Please welcome, NFL's Primetime Player, NFL star Deion Sanders!
Deion waves and sits on a stool next to Bill.
Kendall: Also dancing this season is a woman who I have had the honor of doing a duet with! In 2007, she won American Idol, and remains the youngest winner in the show's history. Now, she transfers over to an ABC reality show! Please welcome America's Idol, singer Jordin Sparks!
Jordin waves and walks over to sit next to Elizabeth on the couch.
Brittany: And our final star in this group is the man who's voice you've heard in many cartoons. From cop Joe Swanson on Family Guy, and Kronk in the Emperor's New Groove, he has also ventured to live acting in films and TV shows such as Seinfeld, Get Smart, and even some car commercials this year! Can he do all the talking with his dancing? Please welcome Cartoon's Craziest, actor Patrick Warburton!
Patrick waves and sits on a stool next to Deion.
Kendall: Let's start our breif Q&A. I'll ask a question. Elizabeth, seeing as I, myself, am the only Nick star before you to do the show, and win, do you think the pressure is on?
Elizabeth: Kendall, you goof! Of course there's pressure! Just from these 6 stars so far, I can tell I have to bring my A-game! It's gonna be so much fun!
Brittany: Now, Mr. Clinton, you are by far the most important celebrity this show has seen in a while. Why did you do it?
Bill: Well, I'm always up for a challenge. I'll probably do as well as a bear in a swamp, but I hope to please and I know I'll have fun!
Kendall: Thank you, Mr. Clinton! Now it's time to go back to the results, but join us later when our next six couples are announced!
Brittany: Earlier, we announced that Hayden had reserved his spot in the semi-finals.
Kendall: Let's reveal the next couple who has been saved for the semi-finals.
Dramatic elimination theme music plays
Kendall: The next couple safe to dance in the semi-finals is... (long pause; camera pan the couples) ...Eva and Alec! (cheers; Eva hugs Alec tightly)
Regular lighting returns
Brittany: Quick Announcement #3: Next season, our stars get an extra break from going home... for the first week, as there will be no elimination! BUT: That leaves us to do the unprecidented, and eliminate 2 men and 2 women in Week 2, in our first ever QUAD elimination!
Kendall: Let's reveal 6 more contestants. Our first star has to be the most recognizable woman in the history of Sci-Fi films! She got her fame starring alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first two Terminator films as Sarah Conner, and then also starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in Dante's Peak! Will her scientific beauty transfer well onto the dancefloor? Please welcome Sci-Fi's Sexiest, actress Linda Hamilton!
Linda walks out to the couch to sit next to Jordin.
Brittany: Next, we have the man who has been a treasure to the Academy Awards the past two years. In 2010, he won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role as Bad Blake in the film Crazy Heart. This year, 2011, he was nominated for Best Actor again for the role as Rooster Cogburn in True Grit, a role that was nominated for Best Actor for John Wayne decades earlier! Can his Oscar winning talents turn into dancing talents? Please welcome the Crazy Heart, actor Jeff Bridges!
Jeff smiles, waves, and sits on a stool next to Patrick.
Kendall: Following him is the actress who has been acting since she was practically born almost 50 years ago! At 14, she became one of the youngest actresses ever nominated for an Academy Award! She has since been nominated for 4 more Oscars, winning twice, once in the 80's and once in the 90's. How will she turn out to be as a dancer? Please welcome the Brave One, actress Jodie Foster!
Jodie smiles, waves, and sits next to Linda on the couch.
Brittany: Now, we have the man with the most recognizable red hair possibly on the planet. He has the distinction of being the only man to host both NBC Late Night shows, Late Night and The Tonight Show. After being booted from The Tonight Show, he moved to TBS, where he eventually knocked George Lopez right off the network! Can his comedic hosting abilities entertain well enough on the show? Please welcome Late Night's Funniest, talk show host Conan O'Brien!
Conan waves, does a few comedic dancing moves, and sits on a stool next to Jeff.
Kendall: Joining them is one of the oldest working ladies in Hollywood. She has done a lot. From writing best-selling novels, to being in cult-classic films, to winning reality shows, she has given us many reasons as to why she is a star! Can she add DWTSGame winner to those accomplishments? Please welcome the Original Barbie Girl, comedienne Joan Rivers!
Joan laughs, waves, and sits next to Jodie on the couch.
Brittany: And finally, we have one of the most amazing male singers that has come into our lives! After his debut as the protagonist on the groundbreaking musical TV show, Glee, he was nominated for every major TV acting award imaginable, and now he is getting too many record contracts to count! I'm sure he won't let down with his dancing skills! Please welcome Glee's Greatest, actor and singer, Matthew Morrison!
Matthew smiles, waves, and sits on a stool next to Conan.
Brittany: Time for Q&A #2. Matthew, you are famous for being a part of the greatest musical TV show this decade. People could obviously consider you a ringer. What do you think?
Matthew: Hi Brittany! I'm actually not even a very good dancer. I'm just a good singer. All we do on the show is choreographed numbers to pop music, this will be choreographed for one person, to a ballroom style. Two completely different things! I can't wait to try it out!
Kendall: Joan, I'm sure you're one of the funniest ladies to ever be a part of our show. Do you have anything crazy planned?
Joan: Kendall, I'm sure anything I'll do on this show is going to be crazy. Just watch out Matt, I'm givin' ya a run for your money!
Brittany: Okay guys, we'll be back later with another announcement and our last six couples are announced!
Kendall: Now, as you can see, we have 3 couples left up here, 2 spots left in the competition, and 2 spots left in the bottom-two. We will now call the name of the last couple that is safe from elimination and safe for the semi-finals. And they are... (camera pans Julia, Betty, and Emma) ...Julia and Maksim! (cheers; Julia shreiks with joy)
Brittany: Which means Betty and Corky and Emma and Mark are this week's bottom-two. (audience boos; Emma is bummed)
Brittany: Wait! This announcement is sort of a biggie! Next season, Carrie Ann, Len, and Bruno will leave the judge's panel for the season (audience awws). But in their place, we have DWTSGame producer Natalie Sanders, DWTS former pro Elena Grinenko, and Strictly Come Dancing Semi-Finalist Gavin Henson, will take over for the season, with Elena taking over as head judge for Len!
Kendall: Wait, Brittany, there is another announcement. As you all know, I am part of the band, Big Time Rush, who just made a new album, Elevate. I am sorry to announce that next season, I have to take a majority of the season off to go on tour with BTR (audience awws). But you guys will be so happy with your new host! SHE is a marvelous actress and the winner of the largest DWTSGame season ever! Your new host will be Jennifer Aniston!
Brittany: (shocked with disbelief) Oh, Kendall! We're going to miss you so much! Now, let's announce the last 6 stars!
Kendall: Starting with the actress who most people know as the no-nonsense doctor from Grey's Anatomy who recently left the show to pursue an acting career with films such as Killers with Ashton Kutcher, The Ugly Truth with Gerard Butler, 27 Dresses with James Marsden, and the newly released New Year's Eve! Please welcome Grey's Golden, actress Katherine Heigl!
Katherine sits on the couch, next to Joan.
Brittany: Next is a man who, along with Jeff Bridges, was one of the five men nominated for the Oscar for Best Actor this year, for his nerdy, compelling, and amazing portrayal of Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg in the film the Social Network. Will America warm up to this cute nerd next season? Please welcome the Social Star, actor Jesse Eisenberg!
Jesse grins, waves, and sits on the stool next to Matthew.
Kendall: Now we a TV and film actress with an amazing story of survival. After being in the TV show, Married... with Children, and such films as Anchorman, she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago. She has since defeated it and now coming back strong with tons of new film roles and a new NBC TV show, Up All Night! Please welcome Hollywood's Golden Apple, actress Christina Applegate!
Christina smiles, waves, and walks to the couch, next to Katherine.
Brittany: Next is the man who has been entertaining us with his slow, smooth voice through film roles for decades! He has been nominated for the Oscar for Best Actor multiple times, perhaps even the most for an African-American man in Academy Award history! How will his smooth lifestyle turn out on the dancefloor? Please welcome the Voice of Hollywood, Morgan Freeman!
Morgan flashes a grin, waves, and sits on a stool next to Jesse.
Kendall: Now we have our final woman to be announced. Her name is practically synonymous with the words "Rock" and "Pop". She has released tons of singles such as "Get The Party Started", "Stupid Girl", "God Is A DJ", "Who Knew", "Sober", "So What", "Raise Your Glass", and "Perfect"! She is also the proud mother of a little baby girl named Willow. Please welcome Music's Most Outragous, singer P!nk!
P!nk smiles, waves, and sits next to Christina on the couch.
Brittany: And finally, we have a young man who has spent the last decade making a name for himself in Hollywood. And he certainly has. He has been in films such as "The Social Network" with Jesse, "The Open Road" with Jeff, and "Bad Teacher" with Cameron Diaz. He is also famous for songs such as "SexyBack" and "Love, Sex, Magic". Please welcome the Sexiest Man in Showbiz, actor and singer Justin Timberlake!
Justin smiles, waves, and sits on a stool next to Morgan.
Brittany: Let's get to the questions. Morgan Freeman, why did you decide to do the game?
Morgan: Well, I can still groove and shake it, I just want to see what those great judges think about it (audience laughs).
Kendall: P!nk, you're a new mother and an internation pop and rock sensation. Will you be committed to this season?
P!nk: Totally! I'm still getting rid of baby weight and what a better way to do it than dancing my ass off? I am so committed and can't wait (laughter/cheers)!
Brittany: I can't wait, either! This cast is so high profile, how ever will we handle them all? Well, that's all we've got time for, thanks for following! These celebrities will be dancing very, very soon!
Brittany: Betty and Corky and Emma and Mark have found themselves in the bottom-two after this week, combining your votes with the judges scores.
Kendall: Before we start the elimination, who do the judges think should go? Bruno, what if Betty were to go home?
Bruno: Well, what Betty brings to the table that Emma lacks in is entertainment value. That, and energy. Betty may be older but she sure is not off her rocker. I want her to stay as much as Emma.
Brittany: Valerie, what would happen if we lost Emma and Mark?
Valerie: How can we even think about the show without Emma? She has shown mounds of potential this season and has actually been doing really well. I'm honestly shocked that she is even in the bottom-two. This elimination will be sad.
Dramatic elimination music plays
Kendall: (camera goes to Betty) Betty and Corky. Betty, this week, you danced an instant Jive that didn't get the greatest review from our judges. Have our viewers, however, pulled you through?
Brittany: (camera goes to Emma) Emma and Mark. Emma, your instant Samba was not as raved about as I'm sure you'dve liked. With your lowest score since Week 3, did America choose to pull you through to the semi-finals?
Kendall: (camera pans Betty and Emma) Betty and Corky... Emma and Mark... On this ninth week of competition, the couple with the lowest overall total and therefore leaving right now is...
Elimination music plays and camera pans in
Kendall: Emma and Mark. (audience boos loudly; Emma smiles and hugs Mark)
Brittany: Which means Betty and Corky, you're in the semi-finals! (Betty and Emma hug goodbye, as do Mark and father Corky; Emma and Mark walk down to Kendall and Brittany)
Emma: Well, I guess all I can say is thank all of the voters so much for getting me as far as I did. I'm just a little sad because I'm pretty sure this is the same place Mark came in last season. Anyways, this show has been a great opportunity and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it (audience applauds Emma)!
Kendall: Wow, Mark, this is the same place you can in last season. Thoughts?
Mark: Man, what a bummer! Am I going to make fifth place every season now? I wanna be like Derek and make first place every season (audience laughs)! I've had the funnest time this season with Emma. She's so determined and has honestly improved majorly from Week 1. I can say I'm really proud of her (Emma and Mark hug; audience gives them a standing ovation)!
Kendall: And I'm Kendall Schmidt! Good night and thank you for watching!
cast gathers around Emma and Mark, credits roll, camera fades out
