Brittany Brannon (voiceover): (clips of training shown) Tonight, our remaining five couples dance twice for your votes, yet, they only know the music to one of their dances. They will receive the music after their first dance! How will this go over? Live! This is Dancing with the Stars!
Brittany: And I’m Brittany Brannon! Tonight, our stars dance twice hoping to get a place in the semi-finals. For one of their dances, they will only have 45 minutes to rehearse with music, as this is our annual Instant Choreography week!
Kendall: Enough waiting! Let’s meet our stars!
The stars come down the moving stairs in this order: Eva Mendes, Julia Roberts, Hayden Christensen, Betty White, and Emma Stone.
Brittany: Totally agree! Tonight we start with the star who has found herself with a newfound competitiveness after two near-perfect performances last week. How will her dances fare this week? Time to check and see! Its actress Julia Roberts and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy!
In her VT, Julia cannot believe she has made it to the quarter-finals, and wants to get even further. Julia also goes on to tell us that oddly enough, she does not have 2 ballroom dances and 1 latin dance left to do, rather she has 3 ballroom dances left. She tells us she was sort of bummed that her Instant Latin Dance is for a Tango, but still hopes for the best.
Voiceover: Dancing the Viennese Waltz, Julia Roberts and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Julia is in a pink short-sleeved dress with an apron and a curly pink wig. Maksim is in an all-white suit, recreating a scene from Grease. The pair dances to Frankie Avalon’s “BeautySchool Dropout”.
Brittany: Great job, you guys! Julia, you look awesome as a white Nicki Minaj (Julia and audience laugh)! First of all, Valerie is on a small break in the UK, so taking her place is former DWTS pro, here for her fourth time this season alone, Elena Grinenko! Welcome back again, Elena! So judges, what did you think?
Carrie Ann: You really used your acting skills for this dance, and it worked! It was a very impressive performance!
Len: Well done Julia, I think you did a fine job, sometimes you looked a little shaky but otherwise, good job!
Bruno: Julia! You have some serious skills! I love watching you dance, so keep it up!
Elena: Beautiful routine. The music tempo for the Viennese Waltz in this song was very slow but you handled it very gracefully.
Brittany: Okay, up you go to Kendall!
The couple runs up to Kendall
Kendall: Rad performance guys, let’s get the scores!
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Elena Grinenko: 9
Total: 35
Kendall: Good first score guys! Here’s the song for your Tango! (hands Julia a CD envelope) What is it?
Julia: Ooh! “Mr. Saxobeat” by Alexandra Stan!
Kendall: Wow! Cool song! Okay, hurry and finish up! Back to Brittany!
In her VT, Emma is happy to have gotten so far in the competition. She is a little worried that her Instant Dance is the Samba. Mark thinks she will do well!
Voiceover: Dancing the Quickstep, Emma Stone and her partner Mark Ballas.
Emma is in a white and red dress. Mark is in a black suit with a blue tie. The pair dances to Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel’s “I Don’t Dance” from High School Musical 2.
Brittany: Well done guys, let’s get the comments.
Carrie Ann: Yay! I loved it! So fun to watch, you cheered me up!
Len: It was okay, but Mark, the choreography annoyed me! Where was the traditional Quickstep (audience boos)?
Bruno: I disagree! So much fun, I wanna see you do it again and again!
Elena: Fun, fun, fun! Great choice of music and great choreography! I enjoyed watching it very much!
Brittany: Up you go to Kendall!
The couple runs up to Kendall
Kendall: What a great performance, guys! Let’s get the scores.
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 10 (cheers)
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 10 (cheers)
Elena Grinenko: 9
Total: 37
Kendall: Awesome first score guys! Here’s the song for your Samba! (hands Emma a CD envelope) What is it?
Emma: We got “Brighter Than The Sun” by Colbie Caillat!
Kendall: Wow, next rounds gonna be awesome! Okay, hurry and finish up! Back to Brittany!
In her VT, Betty is mind-blown that she is still in the competition; she is also upset that her now good friend Gabrielle Giffords has been sent home. But the show must go on. Corky attempts an amazing lift with Betty for her Argentine Tango, but Betty is petrified of the Jive – her instant dance!
Voiceover: Dancing the Argentine Tango, Betty White and her partner Corky Ballas.
Betty is in a long-sleeved black dress with a gown-tail. Corky is in an all-black suit. The pair dances to Gotan Project’s “Cite Tango”. At the end of the dance, Corky does an amazing lift where Betty is lifted over Corky’s shoulder. When finished, they walk to Brittany.
Brittany: Wow! That was spectacular, guys! Judges?
Carrie Ann: Betty, you get better and better as time progresses! I just loved the intensity you gave it!
Len: Betty, for your standards, I was pleasantly surprised!
Bruno: Oh Betty, it was not very good. Intense, yes, but good, no. Besides an amateur lift, there was not much to it at all (large boos)!
Elena: Very good job. You got very serious, but I need to see a little more passion for that dance.
Brittany: Well, you got some good comments, up you go to Kendall!
The couple goes up to Kendall
Kendall: Bruno just wishes he could dance that well at almost 90! Who knew Betty White could make the Argentine Tango look sexy (Betty makes a raunchy face)? Let’s get the scores.
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 8
Len Goodman: 7
Bruno Tonioli: 6
Elena Grinenko: 6
Total: 27
Kendall: Awesome first score guys! Here’s the song for your Jive! (hands Betty a CD envelope) What is it?
Betty: Well, we got “The Clapping Song” by Shirley Ellis. I’m sure that songs older than you!
Kendall: (laughs) Yeah, probably! Okay, hurry and finish up! Back to Brittany!
In her VT, Eva is devastated by the elimination of Gabrielle Giffords, which she feels is partly her fault (as she was booed when Giffords was eliminated). She hopes this week the audience will back her up so she makes the semi-finals.
Voiceover: Dancing the Waltz, Eva Mendes and her partner Alec Mazo.
Eva is in a long white dress. Alec is in a black suit. The pair dances to Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts”.
Brittany: That was so amazingly touching, you guys! Let’s get the comments.
Carrie Ann: I loved it. You danced it with so much ease and elegance, one of your best ballroom dances!
Len: It didn’t fit a Waltz at all, I liked it, but it wasn’t a very good Waltz.
Bruno: You sure know how to bring us to tears, Ms. Mendes! I loved it!
Elena: I find this week’s music very strange... You had a 4 beat Waltz, which normally dances on 3 beats. But you still made it look very Waltz-like! Alec: great job with covering that music to make it a Waltz!
Brittany: Up you go to Kendall!
The couple goes up to Kendall
Kendall: Great job, guys! It was brilliant! Let’s get scores.
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 10
Len Goodman: 9 (boos)
Bruno Tonioli: 10
Elena Grinenko: 10

Kendall: No! Len, hurry and change your paddle to a 10 (Eva laughs)! Ugh! Well, here’s the song for your Rumba (hands Eva a CD envelope)! What is it?
Eva: No way! It’s “Russian Roulette” by Rihanna. Thanks a lot, Music Department!
Kendall: (laughs) I’m sure every man in America is counting down the minutes! Okay, hurry and finish up! Back to Brittany!
In his VT, Julianne playfully admits that Hayden whined a lot about his 2 Waltzes last week. Hayden cannot wait to perform his killer Tango, and trains hard to master the Rumba as much as possible.
Voiceover: Dancing the Tango, Hayden Christensen and his partner Julianne Hough.
Hayden is wearing a black suit with a red tie. Julianne is wearing a white and red dress. The pair dances to Madonna’s “Revolver”.
Brittany: Like you said in your training video, that Tango was KILLER! Judges?
Carrie Ann: Well done, there was drama, passion and energy in a bundle!
Len: It was very nice, not technically perfect but almost!
Bruno: HAYDEN! I loved this! You added so much SEX to the dance! I was so completely brought into it!
Elena: Excellent choreography! Great use of lyrics for the dance! I'm absolutely in love with that Tango.
Brittany: Well up you go to Kendall!
The couple walks up to Kendall
Kendall: What a performance, you guys! Scores are in.
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 10
Len Goodman: 9 (boos)
Bruno Tonioli: 10
Elena Grinenko: 10
Total: 39
Kendall: Len, what up?!?! Man! Well, here’s the song for your Rumba (hands Hayden a CD envelope)! What is it?
Hayden: “Come Back To Me” by David Cook. I’ve actually heard this song before!
Julianne: Uh, I haven’t!
Kendall: (laughs) Well Hayden, you’re the odd man out on this! Now, hurry and finish up! Back to Brittany!
In Julia’s VT, we see clips of her childhood, We then get an interview from Pretty Woman co-star Richard Gere who tells the DWTSGame he is inspired by Julia’s journey, stating he may have to give the show a go in the future. Julia’s husband, Daniel, tells the DWTSGame that he can’t believe how amazing his wife is doing. He is a little jealous of Maksim, getting to do sexy dances with Julia week after week. Both agree that Julia has transformed enormously and want her to reach the finals or even win!
Voiceover: Dancing the Tango, Julia Roberts and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Julia is in a long black and red dress. Maksim is in a suit. The pair dances to Alexandra Stan’s “Mr. Saxobeat”. Once finished, they walk to Brittany.
Brittany: Great job, you guys. By the way, Julia, you looked so pretty in some of those earlier pictures! Nothing’s changed (Julia smiles)! Judges?
Carrie Ann: What a performance that was! However, if you wanna get to the finals you need to step it up a tiny bit more. Then you’ll do perfectly!
Len: I do agree, I loved it, but it could be 10 times better!
Bruno: Yes, you have so much potential, but at the moment, it can most definitely improve. I do want to see you here next week, though!
Elena: I always find that dances like the Tango are very difficult to do to a pop song. You did an amazing job still showing the character of the dance even if the music does not match. You just showed my why you won that Oscar!
Brittany: Well up you go to Kendall!
The couple runs up to Kendall
Kendall: Come on up here, guys! What a great performance! Let’s get the scores.
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Elena Grinenko: 10 (cheers)
Total: 37
Kendall: Well, Elena saw what we saw! Thanks, E! Back to Brittany.
We see clips of Emma’s childhood in her VT. Director Judd Apatow (who got Emma her first movie role), tells the DWTSGame that he saw potential in Emma from the beginning; he knew she would find herself in the Top 5. Emma’s mother Krista says she is so proud of her ‘Little Ballerina’. She hopes her daughter can bring home a shiny trophy to add Emma’s collection of awards.
Voiceover: Dancing the Samba, Emma Stone and her partner Mark Ballas.
Emma is wearing a short yellow dress. Mark is wearing a cut-open yellow shirt. The pair dance to Colbie Caillat’s “Brighter Than the Sun”.
Brittany: Wow, that was hot! Judges?
Carrie Ann: Great job, Emma! Personally, I liked your first dance more, but you had more time to prepare on that one… so that is probably why the other one seemed better.
Len: Emma, I’ve been a little disappointed with you tonight (major boos)! It’s not been great for you. If you’re here next week, you seriously need to up your game or else I don’t see you winning that shiny mirrorball.
Bruno: I 100% completely disagree! I LOVED that dance! Did you really have under an hour to prepare it? I couldn’t tell!
Elena: It’s getting very close to the end of the competition and you did a very good job with this dance as well, but I must say that I liked your Quickstep much better. It was more fun, whereas this one was just… bland (boos).
Brittany: Well, not the best comments… Up you guys go to Kendall!
The couple runs up to Kendall
Kendall: What a blazing hot performance, you guys! We’re all hoping your scores are good! Let’s check!
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 10 (cheers)
Elena Grinenko: 8
Total: 35
Kendall: OK, here’s a new chant when a couple gets a score we don’t want. Say it with me! “Yuck. Yuck. That score sucks” (Emma and audience laughs)! Alright, back to Brittany.
In her VT, short clips and photos of Betty’s childhood (long ago) are shown. The Proposal co-star and DWTSGame reigning champion, Sandra Bullock, says that Betty has just been amazing this season. She hopes that Betty will join her in the Winner’s Circle. Betty’s Hot in Cleveland co-star Valerie Bertinelli says she knows Betty is a joy to be around and she is giving all of her energy to win the show. They both hope that, by some miracle, Betty can pull off a win!
Voiceover: Dancing the Jive, Betty White and her partner Corky Ballas.
Betty is in a pink polka-dotted long dress, with short pigtails in her hair. Corky is in a pink dress shirt. The pair dances to Shirley Ellis’ “Clapping Song”. Once finish, they exhaustedly walk to Brittany.
Brittany: Wow! That was so funny! Judges?
Carrie Ann: I loved it Betty, but technique-wise, it was a mess!
Len: It really was terrible, technique-wise, but you are such a joy to have on here.
Bruno: Well, I gotta give you credit for trying! You give it an enthusiasm that no one else can dare try to match.
Elena: I love that you are still in this competition. I enjoy your dancing so very much, but like I said before: “It’s getting closer to the end, and your competition is very tough”.
Brittany: I hope you get decent scores! Up you go!
The couple slowly walks up to Kendall
Betty: OMG! Can you guys add an elevator or escalator or something? Geez (audience laughs)!
Kendall: We’ll think about it! Well, here’s the scores!
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 6
Len Goodman: 6
Bruno Tonioli: 6

Kendall: Wow. That sure is a harsh score for such a funny dance! Back to Brittany.
We see clips of Eva’s childhood in her VT. Her co-star from the Other Guys, Mark Wahlberg, tells the DWTSGame that Eva is without a doubt the sexiest thing about the show. He’s glad she’s stuck around! Her co-star from three films, Nicolas Cage, tells the DWTSGame that Eva is a wonderful person to get to know, and America is learning that, dance by dance.
Voiceover: Dancing the Rumba, Eva Mendes and her partner Alec Mazo.
Eva is in a small, tight, black leather outfit. Alec is in an unbuttoned black dress shirt. The pair dances to Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette”.
Brittany: I am sure that that was the HOTTEST Rumba EVER on the DWTSGame! Judges?
Carrie Ann: Sorry, Brittany. Eva just really outdid the sensuality of your Rumba! It had drama, sex appeal, sensuality, everything! It was perfection!
Len: I agree. It was incredible! Sorry, Eva but you won’t get another nine from me this time. I know how bad you wanted one (Eva is slightly confused).
Bruno: Wow! You were hotter than fire! I knew you would make a perfect Rumba. Thank you for making the wait worth while!
Elena: Sexy, sexy, sexy! The closer it gets to the finals, the harder it is to make a decision as to who the winner will be! It was smokin’!
Brittany: WOW! Up you go to Kendall!
The couple runs up to Kendall
Kendall: Wow guys! Did you seriously come up with that in just 45 minutes? Unbelievable! Let’s get the scores.
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 10
Len Goodman: 10
Bruno Tonioli: 10
Elena Grinenko: 10
Total: 40 (large cheers)
Kendall: Not a total surprise. We all knew Eva was a sex bomb, already! Back to Brittany for the final time tonight!
In his VT, we see clips of Hayden’s childhood. Hayden’s Star Wars co-star, Ewan McGregor, tells DWTSGame that Hayden has surprised him this season. He never expected Hayden to be one of the best dancers of the season. Ewan says he laughs every time he watches Hayden’s Star Wars Paso. Hayden’s mother Alie Nelson is so proud that her son took the opportunity to do the show. She admits that Hayden always loved doing little dances as a kid.
Voiceover: Dancing the Rumba, Hayden Christensen and his partner Julianne Hough.
Hayden is in an unbuttoned light purple dress shirt. Julianne is in a small light purple dress. The pair dance to David Cook’s “Come Back To Me”.
Brittany: Just a fantastic Rumba! Neck-and-neck with Eva’s Rumba! Judges?
Carrie Ann: It was a tie as to who was the best! I loved both. Hayden, you did incredible! I hope you make it about five places further in this competition (Carrie Ann smiles; audience cheers)!
Len: I actually agree, you danced it so well! Good job, my boy!
Bruno: Wow, we’re getting steamy in here with all these amazing Rumbas by our hottest contestants! Excellent job, you guys!
Elena: It was a quite fast paced Rumba, but yet, you guys managed to make it sensual and romantic. AMAZING! I loved it!
Brittany: Up you go to Kendall!
The couple runs up to Kendall
Kendall: Incredible job! Hayden, seeing some of that footage of you dancing as a kid, didn’t that embarrass you?
Hayden: (laughing) Oh yeah! Did I mention it’s my mom’s favorite pass time to embarrass the crap out of me?
Kendall: Nope, but it’s good that I’m not the only one who feels that way! The judges now have their scores!
Will the judges please reveal their scores?
Carrie Ann Inaba: 10
Len Goodman: 10

Brittany: Oh Kendall! You and your conspiracies! Now, at the bottom with just 51 points are Betty and Corky. I hope they can get enough votes to continue entertaining us next week!
