Brittany Brannon (voiceover): Tonight, one of our determined couples must leave the ballroom (more clips shown). With so many upsets, surprises, and triumphs (clips of various dances), how will it end? LIVE! This is Dancing with the Stars!
Brittany: Hello, and Welcome to Dancing with the Stars! I'm Brittany Brannon.
Kendall: And I'm Kendall Schmidt.
Brittany: Tonight, we have to say goodbye to one more star. And after so many amazing performances on Wednesday, this will truly a sad elimination!
Kendall: Definitely! Also, we have legendary Disney singer, Randy Newman, here to sing!
Brittany: He's so awesome! Right away, let's get to the encore performance!
Elena: You know, this week was just hands-down completely entertaining. If I, alone, had to chose a single performance I wanted back, it would be the awesome Samba performed by Ms. Betty White (audience cheers)!
Brittany: (shocked) No way! Please welcome Betty and Corky with their Samba (cheering continues)!
Betty is wearing a long-sleeved luau-like top, along with a long grass skirt attached to the bottom. Corky is wearing a red luau shirt with black dress slacks. They dance to “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” by Mark Kealiʻi Hoʻomalu, a song from Lilo & Stitch. Once finished, the audience gives them a Standing O.
Brittany: Definitely! Now, Betty's Samba wasn't the only highlight from Week 6. We also saw each of our couples dance twice to the tune of a Disney classic. They were also judged by a completely new judge's panel!
Kendall: Now, if you didn't catch our episode this week, here's a little montage of what you missed out on. Take a look...
A montage/recap of all of the dances from Week 6 are played. A leaderboard recap is also played. Confessionals start playing (with each couple after their second dance).
Joel: Is that, like, the biggest comeback or what?
Eva: If this just wasn't the most amazing night ever! I tell ya, this was so fun, I want to do it again!
Julia: We had a great week. Gotta keep it up!
Hayden: We gotta try harder to get back on top next week! I'm in this to win it.
Denzel: Ah, hope we can get through to next week. I know we have tons of spectacular fans, I don't wanna let them down.
Betty: (out of breath) I was expecting all 10's, what gives (audience laughs)?
Emma: I personally just think this week was a little too serious, I would've liked a Samba or something instead of two serious dances this week.
Gabrielle: I'm so thankful the judges loved it. I put a lot into it. I'm so glad it went well.
Confessionals end
Brittany: We want to remind you that you can tweet your votes to @dwtsgame on twitter for 20 extra points, 10 more points than you would get by voting through the poll! You really need to try it to ensure that your favorite couple stays in.
Kendall: Now, in no apparent order, let's reveal the first two couples who have been saved to dance in Disney Week with the help of your votes, and one that has landed in the bottom-three.
Dramatic elimination theme music plays
Brittany: The first couple safe to dance next week is... (camera pan the couples) ...Hayden and Julianne! (cheers; Julianne hugs Hayden)
Kendall: The next couple safe to dance is... (camera pans couples) ...Betty and Corky! (cheers; Betty laughs)
Brittany: The next couple safe to dance is... (camera pans couples) ...Julia and Maksim! (cheers; Julia hugs Maksim)
Kendall: Now, let's reveal the first couple in the bottom-two. That couple is... (camera pans couples) ...Joel and Chelsie. (boos; Joel is bummed)
Regular lighting returns
Kendall: Good luck, you guys! Right now, we have a Disney legend here to sing for us! Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Randy Newman (major cheers)!
Randy Newman performs "You've Got A Friend In Me" while Tom Hanks and Kym Johnson surprisingly reunite to dance Tom's Foxtrot. Randy and the audience applaud Tom and Kym when they are done. Brittany and Kendall walk up to Tom.
Tom: Thank you, Brittany. It's great to be back here (audience applauds).
Kendall: Would you please do us the honors of making this announcement,T-Hanks?
Tom: Why not. To all of the DWTSGame voters who would like to give their own take on next season by guest judging, you only have 3 more weeks to sign up! Please go to http://dwtsgame5.weebly.com/contest.html if you want to guest judge Season 6! Don't miss out on the chance of a lifetime! Get typing and you could win! Is that good enough (laughter from audience)?
Brittany: Of course, Tom!
Kendall: We hope to see you again real soon! Right now, let's watch a little video taking a closer look at how the dresses are all made for each episode. Take a look and find out...
VT plays. We go backstage and see Randall Christensen and his team creating the costumes seen on the show, and we see various current contestants come around and help create their costumes. The stars say they love doing this more than training for their dance.
Emma: You know, I'm not sure. I bet I could've handled just the Tango, but I guess I felt too serious by the time I had to do the Paso. I wanted to have a really fun dance. I'm still glad I did good with both, though! Don't worry (Emma laughs).
Kendall: You still did great, don't get yourself down! Now, Gabrielle, how did you feel after delivering your amazing tribute to the Tucson victims?
Gabrielle: I felt so honored. I was crying after the dance because I was so glad I did that dance for them. I hope their families were pleased with my dance (audience applauds).
Kendall: I'm certain that they were nothing but pleased. Thank you for doing it. And finally, Denzel Washington. Denzel, what do you think went wrong with your Paso Doble this week?
Denzel: (chuckles) You know, I, personally, didn't even feel too into the dance. You need to be into the dance to even think about doing well. I promise, if I'm here next week, I'll put much more effort into the dance. I want to stay around.
Kendall: We hope you do, Denzel! Well, let's go out to Brittany for some more results.
Kendall: (now with Brittany) The next couple safe to dance is... (camera pans couples) ...Gabrielle and Tony! (cheers; Gabrielle hugs Tony)
Brittany: As you can see, we have 2 couples left up here, 2 spots left in the competition, and 1 spot left in the bottom-three. We will now call the name of the last couple that is safe from elimination. And they are... (camera pans Denzel and Emma) ...Emma and Mark! (cheers; Emma hugs Mark)
Kendall: Which means Denzel and Cheryl will sadly join Joel and Chelsie in the bottom-two tonight. (audience boos; Cheryl is saddened)
Kendall: I don't know, Brittany! Now, back with another hit Disney song, please welcome back Randy Newman! (audience cheers)
Randy Newman sings "We Belong Together", which Eva just danced to on Wednesday. Anna and Jonathan, Edyta and Alec, and Chelsie and Mark all dance to it. After the song is over, the dancers and Randy receive a Standing O.
Brittany: Natalie Sanders, what would you think if Joel were to leave the competition?
Natalie: Oh man, if Joel were to leave, we would lose the cutest young man this show has ever seen. And he really is a good dancer. It would be a shame to lose him (quiet cheers; Joel nods).
Kendall: Valerie, what if Denzel were to leave?
Valerie: I don't even want to think about it! Denzel is like God's gift to women. He is amazingly beautiful and he is actually a very good dancer. No offense to Joel, but I'd rather have Denzel stay (cheers/boos mix; Denzel grins).
Brittany: Well, let's find out how America voted.
Brittany: Joel and Chelsie and Denzel and Cheryl have found themselves in the bottom-two for Disney Week. Let's find out the results.
Dramatic elimination music plays
Kendall: (camera goes to Joel) Joel and Chelsie. Joel, after your disappointing Quickstep this week, you came back later and provided a Cha-Cha that came in first place for the round. Will that comeback alone give you enough to make it to next week?
Brittany: (camera goes to Denzel) Denzel and Cheryl. Denzel, you first danced a Jungle Book themed Quickstep which excited the judges, but then you came back and danced a Paso that you, yourself, weren't too into. Has America given you the boot?
Kendall: (camera pans Joel and Chelsie) Joel and Chelsie... Denzel and Cheryl... On this sixth week of competition, the couple with the lowest overall total and therefore leaving right now is...
Elimination music plays and camera pans in
Kendall: Joel and Chelsie. (audience boos; Joel hugs Chelsie)
Brittany: Which means Denzel and Cheryl, you're safe. (quiet cheers; Denzel and Joel shake hands goodbye, Cheryl and Chelsie hug, Joel and Chelsie walk down to Brittany and Kendall)
Joel: It's sad to have to say goodbye, but I knew my time was probably coming. I wish I could've gotten Chelsie farther. Sorry Chelsie (audience awws)!
Brittany: And Chelsie, final thoughts?
Chelsie: Joel, you didn't let me down in the slightest. I had a blast this season. You've been an amazing partner (Joel and Chelsie hug)!
Kendall: And I'm Kendall Schmidt. Good night and thanks for watching.
