Brittany Brannon (voiceover): Tonight, as we gear up for our second annual Partner Ditch Week next week, we must say goodbye to another man and woman. But the question still stands: "Who will they be?" Find out now! LIVE! This is Dancing with the Stars!
Brittany: Hello, and Welcome to Dancing with the Stars! I'm Brittany Brannon.
Kendall: And I'm Kendall Schmidt.
Brittany: Tonight, we say goodbye to two more celebrities as we prepare for our second annual Partner Ditch Week next week! It'll be so much fun and it'll be a real shame that two of our fine contestants won't get to be a part of it.
Kendall: I know! Also tonight, Maroon 5 is the musical guest and also have some big things in store!
Brittany: Right away, let's get to the encore performance!
Carrie: Well, I think we can all agree that the encore this week is well deserved! He blew all of us away on Wednesday with his amazing Paso! We want Hayden and Julianne back with their Star Wars Paso Doble (audience cheers)!
Brittany: I'm glad you chose him C.A.! Please welcome back Hayden and Julianne with their Paso Doble (cheering continues)!
Hayden is in an unbuttoned black vest dress shirt, sporting a cape as well. Julianne is in an all black Paso Doble outfit. The pair dances to John Williams' Imperial March, better known as the Darth Vader theme song. Once finished they get a Standing O from the crowd, who are chanting Hay-Hough, their team name.
Brittany: I love that dance so much! Now, Hayden's Paso wasn't the only highlight from Week 3. We also saw the remaining contestants take to the floor for the third time while Guest Judge Elena Grinenko stood in for Len!
Kendall: Now, if you didn't catch our episodes this week, here's a little montage of what you missed out on. Take a look...
A montage/recap of all of the dances from Week 3 are played. A leaderboard recap is also played. Confessionals start playing.
Danny: Well, I tried my hardest... let's just hope I can survive the elimination because I'd really love to dance with Julia Roberts next week!
Joel: For all the fan girls that are watching this show... You're welcome for that dance (audience laughs)!
Eva: Eva-a-a-a. Eva-a-a-a. Roma, rom-ma-ma! Want your bad romance (audience laughs)! Whew! Loved that dance!
Beyoncé: I hope next week we get a latin dance. Time to spice things up! Please vote for us!
Kym: (looks at a visibly enraged Eminem) All we can do is hope they vote for us...
Julia: That was so amazing. Call me crazy, but I think that little old me, of all people, just got the first 10's of the season. Wow.
Hayden: (shocked with his scores) How? Oh my... Amazing! (audience laughs).
Denzel: I'm so glad that I got to do that dance, to that song, with the amazing Cheryl Burke. It was a real experience!
Cameron: I am so dizzy after that Waltz! Man!
Clint: (looks at Anna) I bet'cha never thought I was capable of that (Anna laughs).
Ryan: Alright, gettin' better! Can I have a shirt now?
Betty: (almost out of breath) Well, I got the latin dance I had wished for. Now, I wish for a nap.
Emma: How weird. Two weeks in a row we perform almost the same dance, yet two way different outcomes. I'm really glad our scores are going up though!
Gabrielle: That was an honor to dance. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Confessionals end
Kendall: Well, you guys, we have some news to tell you before we start our elimination.
Brittany: Yes, we do. And be prepared, it is some pretty sad news.
Kendall: As any of you who watched Wednesday's episode know, a couple of the comments and scores for our stars weren't the greatest.
Brittany: No, sadly, they were not. In the process, we saw one couple imparticular sink to the bottom of the leaderboard due to bad comments on their dance and the lowest scoring judge's paddle of the night.
Kendall: Right now we want to talk to him. So, Eminem and Kym, please come down here.
Audience is murmuring as Eminem and Kym walk down to Kendall and Brittany.
Brittany: Eminem, as we just saw, you were obviously so upset about how Wednesday night went down. What do you have to say about the comments and scores for it?
Eminem: Honestly, I was so pissed off that the judges all attacked me and Kym like they did, and have been for the past three weeks. Out of, what, 12 judges comments so far... Only, like, two of them have even been positive or helpful. I'm working my ass off trying to learn how to dance and all they're doing is criticizing me and giving me BS scores. It's not fair to my fans, it's not fair to the entire audience, and it sure as hell ain't fair to poor Kym, here.
Kendall: Kym, do you agree with Eminem?
Kym: Well, I have to say that for the effort he is putting into each dance, his comments are not fully warranted and his scores don't deserve to be as low as a 4 or 5 (audience cheers quietly).
Brittany: So, Eminem, what are you going to do to improve on what you think the judges are doing?
Eminem: You know, it's actually pretty upsetting to have to say so, but... I think that the judges are never going to warm up to me or ever give me and Kym a decent score. It's gotten so nerve-wracking that I could barely even focus on training the past three days. I just think the respectable solution for me is to change something before things get bad (audience is murmuring again).
Kendall: So, what does this mean for you?
Eminem: I am officially withdrawing from the competition (audience boos loudly). I'm leaving now before things escalade into something big.
Brittany: Eminem, are you sure you want to do this?
Eminem: I'm sure.
Kendall: Kym, are you OK with this?
Kym: Yes. Eminem and I had a talk about this on Thursday. If he doesn't feel like he wants to do this show anymore, I can't be the person to force him to stay. It really sucks that we have to pull out, but I do understand where he's coming from.
Brittany: Well, you guys. I really hate to say goodbye so early.
Kendall: Me, too. We still hope to see you at the finale.
Eminem: If things work out, I'll be there.
Brittany: OK. Well you guys, I guess you can go backstage now. Audience, give it up for Eminem and Kym Johnson (audience has mixed reactions as Eminem and Kym walk backstage and leave).
Brittany: Actually, I just got a note from producer Natalie. She told me that in the event of a withdrawal so early on in the competition and on a double elimination night, that all of the remaining men are safe to dance the next week, however the women will still need to get their results (small cheers for the men).
Kendall: Anyways, we will get to that in a minute. Right now, to relieve the tension, please welcome our musical guests Maroon 5 (audience cheers).
Maroon 5 performs "Misery" while their back-up dancers perform. When they're done, the audience, still upset by Eminem's withdrawal, is on their feet for the band.
Kendall: Right now... We want to see our stars in their most comfortable environments... their careers. Take a look at what happened when our camera followed some of the stars to work this week!
VT plays. We see our stars at work while juggling in DWTS. People like Gabrielle and Joel have plenty of time to practice for different reasons. People like Julia and Betty have to take Maksim and Corky to sets and appearances with them just to squeeze in some time for practice. The audience feels awkward watching Eminem going to his recording studio with Kym and watching them work on their dancing. In the end, we realize how crazy some of our stars' schedules are.
Brittany: The next couple safe is... (camera pans couples) ...Gabrielle and Tony! (cheers; Gabrielle mouths 'thank you')
Kendall: The next safe couple is... (camera pans couples) ...Julia and Maksim! (cheers; Julia hugs Maksim)
Brittany: Another couple returning next week is... (camera pans couples) ...Emma and Mark! (cheers; Emma hugs Mark)
Kendall: Now, as you can see, we have 3 couples left up here, 2 spots left in the competition, and 2 spots left in the bottom-two. We will now call the name of the last couple that is safe from elimination and safe for next week. And they are... (camera pans Eva, Cameron, and Beyoncé) ...Eva and Alec! (cheers/horror; Eva hugs Alec tightly; audience starts screaming for Beyoncé)
Brittany: Which means Cameron and Neil and Beyoncé and Derek are the bottom-two for the week. We'll find out their fates in just a bit. (audience boos; Beyoncé is scared, Cameron is scared for herself as well)
Regular lighting returns
Kendall: I'm actually scared now. Good luck to her and Cameron. Now, to put off our eliminations for a few minutes, back with another hit, please welcome Maroon 5! (audience cheers)
Maroon 5 sings "Harder To Breathe". Their back-up dancers perform to this song as well. The audience cheers after the song is over.
Brittany: Let's go ladies (Cameron and Beyoncé are on stage).
Dramatic elimination music plays
Kendall: (camera goes to Cameron) Cameron and Neil. Cameron, after your Waltz on Wednesday, the judges gave your dance great scores except for Valerie, who called it mediocre. Are you going home tonight?
Brittany: (camera goes to Beyoncé) Beyoncé and Derek. Beyoncé, these past two weeks have been hard for you. Last week, your scores dropped due to song choice, this week they did not improve. Will you be around to even get more scores?
Kendall: (camera pans Cameron and Beyoncé) Cameron and Neil... Beyoncé and Derek... On this third week of competition, the couple with the lowest overall total and therefore leaving right now is...
Elimination music plays and camera pans in
Kendall: Cameron and Neil. (audience boos)
Brittany: Which means Beyoncé and Derek, you're safe, yet again! (audience cheers loudly; Cameron and Beyoncé hug goodbye, Derek and Neil shake hands and "bro-hug")
Brittany: Cameron, we're so upset to lose you, especially days before our Partner Ditch Week. How did you like the game?
Cameron: I actually really enjoyed myself. It's a real shame I don't get to go any farther, but if me being eliminated means that Beyoncé is still in, I guess it was worth it, right?
Kendall: It's up to you. We're going to miss you. Neil, are you upset that you couldn't get farther with your first partner?
Neil: I'm just so shocked that we were eliminated so early, even before some of the other couples. I thought I could actually get Cameron really far, it feels like a let-down to her, to me.
Kendall: Well, Neil, maybe next season you'll get someone just as good as Cameron.
Cameron: Or better (audience, Neil, and hosts laugh).
Kendall: And I'm Kendall Schmidt. Good night and thanks for watching.
Cast dances around Cameron and Neil, credits roll, camera fades out
