Emma Stone
Emily Jean "Emma" Stone (born November 6, 1988) is an American actress. She was born in Scottsdale, Arizona. Stone was a cast member of the TV series Drive, and made her feature film debut in the comedy Superbad (2007). She appeared in The House Bunny (2008) and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009). She then starred in the horror-comedy Zombieland and the indie comedy Paper Man in 2009. In 2010, Stone voiced the character Mazie in Marmaduke, and starred in the high school comedy Easy A, which earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. Currently, her new film, Crazy Stupid Love is in theaters. The Help (another one of her films) will be released soon, and she is currently filming The Amazing Spider-Man, a reboot to the 2001 Spider-Man film series. Stone was living on her own in Los Angeles in 2007, and moved to Greenwich Village, New York City in 2009. Stone has stated that she "was really into HTML and web design" when she was younger. Stone was romantically linked to singer-songwriter and actor Teddy Geiger, her co-star in The Rocker, at the time the film was being promoted in July 2008. She has since been linked to her Paper Man costar, Kieran Culkin. Although known as a redhead, Stone is naturally a blonde. She landed her first role as a teenager after dyeing her hair dark brown. Film producer Judd Apatow had her change from a brunette to a redhead for her role in Superbad. In April 2011, Stone ranked 10th on People magazine's annual 100 Most Beautiful list.
Mark Ballas
Mark Alexander Ballas Jr. (born May 24, 1986) is an American dancer. At a young age, he moved to London, in the UK, where he began his performing career. He remained in London until 2007, when he moved back to the US. Ballas is a professional ballroom dancer on the ABC program Dancing with the Stars. He began competing on the show in the fall of 2007. He is also a singer/songwriter/musician for the group Ballas Hough Band, where he composes the group's music, plays lead guitar and sings lead vocals.

Preseason, Stone rapidly become one of the most popular stars of the season. Tons of viewers could not wait to see her dance! Her partner Mark told reporters that Emma shows tons of promise!
In Week 1, Emma and Mark danced a Cha-Cha-Cha to "TiK ToK" by Ke$ha. The judges praised it, with Judge Gavin Henson comparing it to a VMA winning music video. The judges awarded it with a 31 out of 40 for the night, landing them in first place for the night.
In Week 2, Emma and Mark danced a Viennese Waltz to "I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack. The judges mostly loved the dance, with Judge Bruno Tonioli calling Emma a serious contender. They were given 31 points for the night, landing them in a tie for fifth place with Denzel Washington.
In Week 3, Emma and Mark danced a Waltz to "Come Away With Me" by Norah Jones. The judges mostly liked the dance, with Judge Carrie Ann Inaba calling it beautiful and emotional. They were given 35 points for the night, landing them in a tie for fifth place for the night with Eva Mendes.
In Week 4, Emma ditched Mark to dance a Foxtrot with Joel Courtney to "Love Like Woe" by the Ready Set. Together, they were praised for their chemistry and for creating a fun dance. The judges (including former contestant Justin Bieber) gave the dance 35 points. When they later danced to a Paso Doble to "Stronger" by Kanye West as part of Team Kendall (Schmidt), the dance went over better. The younger couples all worked powerfully and were fully in sync enough to make the judges (including former winner/host Kendall Schmidt) give it 37 points. They ended the night with 72 out of 80.
In Week 5, Emma and Mark danced a Rumba to "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" by Maroon 5. Emma and Mark even had a bed on stage for the dance. The judges loved the dance and gave it a 39 out of 40. Emma and Mark then danced with the other couples left to a Salsa Marathon (with music provided by "Saca Tu Mujer" by Tito Puente). Emma and Mark were eliminated ninth and in reward, got 9 additional points to their previous score, giving them a total of 48 for the night, landing them in first for the night! They were given the encore performance later this week on results night.
In Week 6 (Disney Week), Emma and Mark danced a Tango to "Determinate" from Lemonade Mouth. The judges loved the dance, giving it a 38 out of 40. Emma and Mark then danced a Paso Doble to "Real Gone" by Sheryl Crow from Cars. The judges did not like this dance as much and gave it a 37 out of 40, giving Emma and Mark a total of 75 out of 80 for the night.
For Week 7, Emma and Mark danced a Foxtrot to "Sexy Silk" by Jessie J (a song used in the film Easy A). The judges all really liked the dance, calling it sassy and spunky, and gave it 38 out of 40 points. Emma and Mark participated in the Salsa 'All-or-nothing' Challenge on Saturday, dancing to "Beautiful Liar" by Shakira and Beyonce. They scored 36, not scoring any 10's, which sadly took away ALL of their points for the week. Team Emmark was luckily saved due to votes alone.
In Week 8 (Christmas Week), Emma and Mark danced a Waltz to "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Frank Sinatra. The judges loved the dance, giving it a 39 out of 40. Emma and Mark then danced a surprise Jive to "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey, which they only had 45 minutes to master. The judges liked this dance just as much and again gave it a 39 out of 40, giving Emma and Mark a total of 78 out of 80 for the night.
For Week 9, Emma and Mark danced a Quickstep to "I Don't Dance" by Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel, from High School Musical 2. The judges really enjoyed the dance, giving it a 37 out of 40. Emma and Mark then danced an Instant Samba to "Brighter Than The Sun" by Colbie Caillat. The judges were not as impressed with this dance and gave the dance a 35 out of 40, giving Emma and Mark a total of 72 out of 80 for the night. Emma and Mark landed in the bottom-two this week along with Betty White and Mark's father, Corky. Shockingly, Emma was eliminated in White's favor, marking this the second season in a row in which Mark Ballas had been eliminated in the quarter-finals.
