Robert Lane Saget (born May 17, 1956) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and television host. Although he is best known for his past roles in the family-oriented shows Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos, Saget is known outside of television for his starkly blue stand-up routine. He attended Temple University's film school, where he created Through Adam's Eyes, a black-and-white film about a boy who received reconstructive facial surgery, and was honored with an award of merit in the Student Academy Awards. He graduated with a B.A. in 1978. Saget was also host of NBC's game show 1 vs. 100, which debuted October 13, 2006. He plays the narrator of the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, which premiered on September 19, 2005. In the series he portrays the future version of the protagonist Ted Mosby. Throughout the series, only his voice is heard and it is yet to be seen if he will make an appearance. On August 17, 2008, Saget was roasted by Comedy Central in a special, titled The Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget. In April 2009, he debuted in a new sitcom along with his co-star Cynthia Stevenson on ABC called Surviving Suburbia. The series, which was originally to air on The CW, ended after one abbreviated season.

Week 1: Quickstep: Man With The Hex - Atomic Fireballs: 18
Bob's Journey
Parents were on the fence with Bob preseason. Many recalled that he played such a lovable character from Full House, but has since become a vulgar, mature-themed comedian. Parents no longer found him a positive influence on the children watching the show. Bob told reporters that he hopes his older or more loyal fans will keep him in the competition.
In Week 1, Bob and Edyta danced a Quickstep to "Man With The Hex" by the Atomic Fireballs. The judges did not like it, with Judge Elena Grinenko it was an awkward attempt at a Quickstep. The judges awarded it with a 18 out of 40 for the night, landing them in last place for the night. Sadly, Bob and Edyta became the first couple (for the men) voted off of the show.
